Radwell’s CNC
Capabilities
Radwell is capable of repairing or exchanging thousands of CNC electronic items for most CNC machines/controls. Whenever possible, CNC repair items are test run in one of our machine tool test beds, or in separate test fixture. Our Facility in Arlington Texas features over 24 CNC machines that are solely dedicated to testing CNC repairs once completed. This is in addition to numerous other test stands dedicated towards ensuring the repair is completed correctly the first time. We recognize that it is difficult to keep a full supply of spare equipment on hand for emergency situations. Radwell offers several options for emergency outages. These would include Advanced exchange, Rush repair and Pre-Certified inventory. We are continuously adding new inventory to quickly respond to your outages.
CNC support means responding quickly to the problem. Customers call when a machine fails. Sometimes they can move a job to another machine. In which case they can choose a routine repair. There are options other than Radwell, so we strive for fast but thorough repair of their item. It can be 6 months or a year between calls, but they will remember and choose Radwell if we do the job right the first time, on time.

What are the main parts of a CNC Machine?
The main parts of a CNC machine are determined by its type. For example, a CNC milling machine has a Spindle and Spindle motor, Axis motors that are traditionally connected to a ball screw, and a table that is used to fixture the parts in place. On a CNC lathe you still have a spindle and axis motors but instead of a table fixturing the part your part is held in a Chuck and may be supported by a tailstock or subspindle.
